I made a cool cane for a MB enthusiast with a bad back

My good buddy CLK Man supplied me with the bottom two sections of an old pool stick and I found a cool MB shifter knob on eBay that I was able to secure to the stick as a handle with some creative alterations. The two halves still unscrew at the lower band for easy storage when not being used.

Pics:

The finished MB Cane:

My 4 year old modeling it for size comparison.

I may still buy a rubber cane tip for the bottom so it doesn't slip out while he uses it.

You already told me you love it. I think he'll love it and with our combined efforts to make this happen, I think it will mean even more to him.

Curse you and your creativity and your talents, now you're just rubbing it in!

(Outstanding work as usual, Chad!)

Nice! This should be standard equipment on the Mercedes Benz GOF (Grumpy Old Fart) package!

These are decidedly more expensive than a standard cane tip but soo worth it.

Even better if LED's are added to it.

That's pretty nice. Reminds me of fighting sticks, knobkierries, and general mayhem. I can hear the crack off the offender's skull when I come out swinging with the short end. I hit him with my cane, not a weighted pool cue!

Can you redesign it with some good long barrel, single shot would be fine, you dont want some thug getting within striking distance.

No. He's too old for diapers. Besides, those are his favorite racecar PJ's.
