Meh, I would send him to Isreal for real torture, not the wussy stuff we call "torture" hear.

Give them a few hours and there will be no secrets.

If he decides not to talk thats ok, shoot him and pick up someone else.

Why don't we just replace the stars and stripes with a swastika? You torture freaks have made what it stands for meaningless anyway.

The man has essentially admitted to being a war criminal, and not only that, declares that he'd commit the same crime again. That he'll never be indicted for this turns my stomach.

Firs of all it did not save any lives, that has been proven.
There was no good, timely information that was received from torture.

Second it probably was one the motivating force behind the surge of
new recruits into anti American groups, which caused many lives to be lost,
on both sides.

Third, it does not make him a good man,
it brought shame to our country and made him a ....

Sadam Hussein most defiantly had weapons of mass destruction.

And he used them against the Curdish people killing untold numbers of people.

They were given to him by the US government during the Reagan years.

But they called it helicopter delivered crop fertilizer.

The Milgram experiment is a joke because nobody really believes they are torturing someone in a lab setting. If you have any common sense, how do you think they find the people to volunteer to be the pain subjects?

If you want the real facts on torture, study what the Germans and Japanese did. Bottom line, it works. Second bottom line, it is brutal when done right. And it has always been more effective in gathering info when trying to prevent or learn about a FUTURE event. The cases where POWs are tortured in camps and such like Vietnam are less effective because at that stage of the game, prisoners are willing to say whatever to earn perceived benefits in their living conditions.

Wait, you're serious when you say courage, aren't you? This, a guy who will never be in harms way, never was unless you count the risk of being taught to fly a fighter jet at taxpayer expense of about $1 million, is a man of courage? He will have the most comprehensive bodyguard service in the world for the rest of his natural life, so I'm hard pressed to see the courage in taking his position. Pugnaciously stubborn, I'll give him that.

Meanwhile, Americans who actually do have the courage to go into harm's way will have a greater chance in future of being tortured when captured because the Dubbers' casual, arrogant form of courage.

Our people who have interrogated foreign fighters captured in Iraq and Afg. testify that many, many of them cite torture in Abu Gharib and Gitmo as a primary reason they joined the fray.

obviously just a cover story, due to insufficient interrogation.

if they had been waterboarded, we would have learned the "real story".

loose lips sink ships, soldier!

What would you say if it was an American soldier that was being tortured.

What if it was your son or daughter who died in Abu Ghraib ??

How would you feel about it then ??
