Meh its cool, I bought a new AC unit and its 68 now.

If global warming is really happening thats OK, I have plenty of room to go up. Its only an 8k BTU, I'll buy a 10k next time.

It was 102 yesterday and reached 100 today in central CT (although I'm in Cinnci right now, hot but not that hot).

It's fine by me. As much as I dislike them weather, it is good for business. The more dead/dying grass the better.

Low 80's at the shore today. Ocean water temp shot way up in the last few days. now its low 70's

Today, it's 80......(day 80).......and counting in the GOM.
BP says it's ahead of schedule however.

As soon as it hits the 80s and 90s out here, all the females dress up in revealing clothes, some of them are pretty sexy.

Fine with me. I love to see that. Over 100* though, and it gets uncomfortable to be out there, though the female watching gets even better yet.

I love this heat. I could live like this year round. Heck I love the humidity. Riding around with my windows down, sun glasses on, and not having AC makes me appreciate this heatwave so much.

I know. The humidity in England which was nowhere near 80 percent and I couldn't stand it. Being dry really does make a difference.

Don't feel bad, I'll be spending 3 weeks in the Houston area in july/august.

I was there last summer for a few week when it was about 115, too hot for me.

I did my time in Phoenix, it was a bit warm there. I spent most of July driving a car without a/c since I broke a shift fork in my truck. It was a really crappy car, too, so I couldn't do my usual escape and run up to Flagstaff or Payson for the weekend. I don't think that car would have made it out of town.

100 degrees of dry heat is a lot better than 100 with 80%-90% humidity.
