The number of people we touch in order to have dinner is staggering. Just getting electicity to our house requires thousands of people and millions of tons of raw materials. What if everyone in the world lived like us? We'd be resourceless in two weeks.

I've somehow stumbled into a fascination with the Uyghur region around the Taklimakan desert. Google Earth is an interesting device. This village here:

is up around 9,000 feet. Not sure what they're growing in those fields. I've looked at a bunch of villages on GE and this one is just laid out so cool. It's a tad weird that I'm using this high tech device to sorta somewhat yearn for the life of a subsistance farmer. These people have a better shot at withstanding tumult than we do in many ways. Of course if GW, A or otherwise, reduces the glaciers that feed their creek in a big way, they'd be screwed.

It has a sort of companion village 5 miles to the west and both are about 40 miles from the nearest semi large town. I get a kick out of tracing the path that joins the two villages. I doubt they have any autos.

This one kinda bugs me.

What solar winds do to our magnetosphere.

And what effect they may have on the integrity of our magnetic polls, or pole reversal.

And were due for the next spike in solar activity in a couple of years.

So then once the Lord comes to his senses and realizes what a major FU the human race has become.

Not saying there isn't a lot of good in the human race, but the percentage is falling faster and faster.

Like my friend said, believing in the Lord is a choice. I choose to follow the Lord. Science has been trying to disprove the existence of the Lord for thousands of years. If you do your research, you will find that what the Bible says is true when it come to the age of the earth. this earth is not millions of years old, it's about 6-8 thousand years old. The Bible say that the Lord will use the meek to confound the supposed wise. Please do your research before you make such a statement. The Bible has predicted ALL of the current events, but the smart people dismiss it. Explain that with your science.

So -just to be sure we are on the same page --in the bible, the sun revolves around the earth--and the earth is flat. Correct?

There is a movie, (not a great movie but) and I can't remember it's it's name.
A scientist working on suspened animation, tests the chamber on himself and gets trapped in it for several hundred years due to a major earth quake.
Of course there was a nuclear war or what ever in the interim but some remains of civilization eventualy find and revive him.

They are guided by the books of SAINT Sigmund.

Utter and complete crap. The people who wrote the bible were mere people. God does not reveal much to people. Most of it we have to figure our for ourselves.
