Throw me in the river.....

.... bah, the heck with that. I'll just jump.

Darling Wife, friend Barb, and niece Kelley went to Antitiem and flung ourselves in the crick. Repeatedly. Much fun was had by all.

Sorry guy, my pirate gear is still being made, and there ain't NO way Darling Wife's corset is fitting around anything on me bigger than my thigh!

It does, on the other hand, fit her quite nicely:

Man that looks like fun. Temps here tomorrow are supposed to be over 100-- before the heat index. Neighbors little pool is starting to look interesting. On the plus side, costs to heat the hot tub have dropped quite a bit for some reason. Heck, tomorrow the heater won't run at all! How deep is the water where ya'll were landing? (I swim like rock).

Note the people standing in the river

With the dry as heck summer we've had, the river is down to ~ 3' deep give or take. Normally runs more like 4' in this stretch.

Crap! She is working that weekend. August is pretty bad as far as scheduling goes. Let's try for something in Sept or Oct :-)

The Pirate Ball sounds like fun! is it a yearly thing? Maybe next year...

Ren Faire - not sure what dates will be going, but we'll be hauling a crowd!

Maryland Renaissance Festival

Pirate Ball is an annual event - though last year's got cancelled last minute when a twister took out the venue's HVAC system! Joanie will be hosting it for the first time this year as a result, so it's all good .

For the record - and I did in fact zoom in on that very picture to confirm - that is back hair, not plumber's crack .

If you could see the salt and pepper (well, ok, mostly salt at this point) forest that is me chest, it'd be more believable.
