Post a pic of your office

Like the title says, post a pic of your office or computer lair. I'll start us off.

Note the LP's, they're alphabetized. The stack is a yamaha amp, tuner combo from about '86 thats been fully rebuilt. The turntable is an Ion. I have to get a new needle for my sansui linear turntable. The speakers are good old fashioned Yamaha house speakers, also from around the mid late eighties.

Here's my home office. I keep my vinyl in my living room, though.

Here's my home office, oh I work outta my house.

Yes thats a cube, picked it up cheap years ago. Just call me Dilbert.
Looked like new, top of the line and more accessories than you would even think.
Lights, display racks, folder racks, phone rack ...

Very workable.

Although this pic is older, I have upped the monitor sizes and added a second one for the laptop, which too is newer.

I know some people feel married to their job--But why would someone install a cube in their house????????????????????? I can come over and lord over you if you need an HR manager to intimidate you!

Well when I picked it up I was working a regular job, in a cube.
But for a net cost of under 700 bucks it is really functional, lots of storage, nice big worksurface etc.

Also when I remodeled our basement I was able to make one large open room, now I can reaarange the basement and still have a private office.

Dilbert.

Jimmy Buffet sang "I just to run my life from a pay phone"

I run mine from two laptops. The dark one is for classified info the lit one has our favorite site on it.

Oh and here is some vinyl for you too.

The Marantz Amp died, so I hooked the turn table up to my Yamaha ProLogic system from the early 1990s - It has CD, VCR, PHONO, and LASER DISC inputs LOL
It is hooked up to the Marantz turntable and drives a pair of 1970's vintage Fisher 4 way speakers for the front and Theater Research center and rear speakers.
I just had Zepp III on the system..

Well it was 500, plus 50ish for the rental truck, 40 bucks for the shipping guy where I picked it up helping me load it, and some beer and pizza for a couple of buddies here to unload and set it up. That was almost 20 years ago.

Still nice to be able to have an office that is private and VERY functional (it even has the power running through the lower channel) without wasting a room.

I need to get my vinyl collection inventoried etc I have 2 or 300 hundred of my own, many the digital masters, most stored in the fancy sleeves, and seveal hundred more that a buddy was going to toss when he moved.

Not trying to out do you, I just want to get them in a situation when I get sell them to people that will enjoy them, and I can get a little cash.

I used to enjoy my albums, I still enjoy the music but I do not find any significant benefit to vinyl versus digital.
Better yes, but not worth the added trouble.
