A camel spoke polish?

Thanks for sharing a great adventure with us! My palms got sweaty hearing about crossing that big road.

We found in Italy you just put a good looking woman out there and all traffic will stop while you cross.

That I hope you enjoy, it has some fantastic artifacts in it. Khan Kalidi was an amazing, middle ages market. They know how to seperate you from your money. Easy to get lost in, or at least turned around. The great pyramid is worthy of a trip only to say that you have done it; inside is dank, stale and just the empty burial chamber, sort of anti climatic....

The Valley of Kings (Luxor) is a cool place, but it is politically unstable sometimes.

I'd love to visit over there sometime.

Yeah, I'd recommend it - allow one day for Cairo, maybe two a the most, but see Alexandria - I'm told that's a jewel of a city. THen there are the resorts in the Upper Egypt (south): Aswan, Karnak, Abu-Simbel, Luxor. The Sharm-Al-Sheik resort at the tip of the Sinai peninsula is someplace that I'd like to take my family to one day - my cousin has been there and they love it.... great diving and snorkeling. Hope to one day, 'inshallah' as they say.
