What a cheerful bunch we have today.

Thanks, everyone, for your help. I went ahead and sent a modest donation to UNICEF. I chose them in part because they are probably the best thing about the UN and in part because I knew it would make you guys mad.

Hallmark is exactly what came to mind when I read aklim's pithy line: "...Everybody dead there is one person less to aid the extremists and screw with us..."

Seems like Hallmark could work that into some sort of greeting.

All this destruction and death? It's just God's will -- except for those places that don't believe in a Christian God. Serves them right, doesn't it?

Here's another one I heard from a show. I wouldn't piss in their mouth if their teeth were on fire.

That's good. It reminds me of another expression about a different subject: "He is so dumb he couldn't pour piss out of boot if the instructions were written on the heel."

It's a great expression, although I don't know how the piss got in the boot to begin with. I guess that's why it works, sort of like the teeth being on fire in your expression.

I don't think they will since Israel has their own. Another M.A.D. scenario to add to the others.
