I'll add that I think though we should make this law, with the punishment death or deportation, at the imigrants choice.

And since being an "illegal imigrant" means they are NOT law abiding, well you get my drift

Ah, I see you gentlemen have met one of PeachParts mirror image of Rush. Same things that Rush does but in reverse. Obviously nowheres as successful as the real thing but a mirror image.

Election season must be upon us and he is trying to drum up support for his side, the saints, against the devils, the Republicans.

I suspect he was being sarcastic, Rupert Murdoch is just their spokesman.

Hopefully, this is a signal that the mainstream republicans are trying to put some distance between themselves and the nut-balls before the election, it might be too little and too late.

“NOT law abiding” just seems a bit much. Kind of like a gang of ruthless bikers.

They broke our law by coming over here as they did, I’ll agree. But then, to tag them as “NOT law abiding” seems to imply they do not abide by our laws once here.

You can’t tell me (truthfully) that you’ve never exceeded the speed limit nor rolled through a stop sign. (Well, you can. But I doubt I, or anyone, will truly believe you.)
Doing so is breaking the law. Thus you are “NOT law abiding” either.
Nor am I. Nor anyone else on this forum. So what’s the point in the statement?

Since we are putting a start time for defining law-abiding.
No in the past two weeks I have not knowingly or willingly broken any laws, therefore I am law abiding.

Please don't get me wrong, I am NOT against immigration, as long as you follow the rules.
Cut in front of everybody in a long line at the DMV (or dept of unfixed wing vehicles), let's see the reaction you get.
Or vice versa, your next in line after waiting an hour, somebody walks in the door and cuts in front of you.

That's interesting, crossing the border is a crime but being in the US without documentation is not? Does that mean that you have to actually catch someone crossing the border to prosecute them?
