I have been without a decent camera for some time now. Had a D60. Today I bought a D3100.

It not professional by any means, but it will work for me. I am surprised how small the body is compared to the D60, probably my only complaint about it. Otherwise its a nice camera.

But I also need to now buy a 10-24mm lens which went by by with the D60. I love the wide angle look. Very much "Top Gear" style actually.

It also does HD video and it does it well, but easier to manually focus. A photo camera is just not fast enough to be a "real" video cam.

Any other camera guys here?
