The old wisdom was one oz. of Gold was equal to ten bbls of oil.
If this holds true then Gold will fall to about $820 an oz before it stops. It opened today at $1362 and fell to about $1340 before it started to recover a bit, so it has a good ways to go before it bottoms out. Hopefully the price of guns will start to fall as well. |

Guns have fallen, ammo has a bit to but not as much as I would like.

I think ammo just has too many fixed costs to fall that much. I am talking new ammo here.
But private party sales? I guess that depends on how bad the seller needs the cash. I don't shoot much these days as I am a little to old to get out like I used too, but I can remember the late 1960's when surplus ammo from WW 2 could be had cheeeeeeeep! I think that is the only thing about the 'good old days' that I miss. |
