I was driving down the highway...

I saw those speed enforced by aircraft signs, figured meh they won't catch me. Than I looked in my rear view mirror!

Did you try to post a picture that i'm seeing or are you serious?
When did they catch you? (I would imagine on a cloudy windy day like this that they wouldn't be out) On I-84 in upstate NY you can see the white lines painted on the highway that they use to time your speed. (Set the cruise control and count....they are unassuming but evenly spaced)

If I remember correctly they banned this type of enforcement in CA because of the inaccuracies of the pilots judging the cars speed.

I had a summer job at IDOT painting those lines on the highway...

...got a lot of drive by "one-finger" salutes that summer!

they go up in some pretty good winds around here.probably work in their favor if the wind is just right.turn into the wind and make like a bird and just basically set there and hover so to speak.

Enforcing speed is a serious crime! Anything more than 20 over and you get a Hellfire up your butt!

The following case is gaining attention for obvious reasons.

quote from the article:

"In one notable example, he said an officer he observed using radar clocked a rock going 72 mph. The error was caused by the heater fan blowing air inside the officer's car."
