I'm assuming you mean an e-mail account with local stored mail? In a program such as Outlook, Microsoft Mail, Thunderbird...etc? Delete the account, then delete all the mail from the mail store location. Then it will be "gone" to the average user.

Is this in firefox again? If so the windows versions of firefox can be found from extra (the drop down next to help) and then options - then you've got an applications option and then you can specify mail to...

You'll have to bear with me for the exact names as I'm translating from a Dutch firefox version installed on a version of windows xp

Next to 'Help' is 'Tools' then Yahoo!, Bookmarks, History, View, Edit & File.
Hope I am looking in the right place.

Thanks that sounds about right - I had to make an educated guess that obviously wasn't quite right!

It also sounds like you've got a yahoo tool bar added to your firefox via add ons - now I guess layback40 wants to keep his - but if 420 benz wants to get rid of yahoo - go to "tools" => add-ons and then uninstall any yahoo stuff that is listed there.
