"They" will continue to push until the public decides to vote with their checkbook and stop submitting to the groping/feeling up/sexual molestations. This is the slippery slope that all countries eventually face, i.e. Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany for example. Once the people decide that the surrender of one's own personal space is OK in the interest of security, all bets are off.
The terrorists must be laughing their heads off right now. They scared us into surrendering our self-dignity, our personal space and our right to privacy.
