Fitness Time: How Many Push-up Burpees can you do?

It's a perfect exercise for wherever you are, since no equipment is needed.

6-count Burpee

Can you do 1 minute? How many reps?

I'm taking a little break. I'm just over 1/2 way through my first one.

His pushups suck, you're not supposed to bend your back like that. I did 15x 295lb deadlifts at the gym today, does that count?

Cute.

On another fitness subject, my D-I-L started us on some riding lessons this weekend. Posting, on a Clydesdale...now that's some real torture. My gronads think I've been split in two. And all I heard for two friggin' hours was 'Heels down!! Heels down!!!'

Christsakes, I can hardly walk today.

I unloaded and put away 40 bales of hay yesterday, one bale at a time. That's 4000 pounds. I pull them out and haul them to the feeders 200lbs a day, and then I go get 40 more and start over. I don't need no steenking pooshups.

Burpees and lifting are 2 different thing so I don't know how to equate the two. But I have seen guys at training do burpees between lifting sets.

I'm going to try them out when I work out tomorrow.

oh.. well. I weigh 135, unload trucks at the grocery store three times a week.. I unload at least 3 pallets of water.. 800 lbs per pallet(weight of the water, pallet, pallet jack) without assistance, slightly uphill.

and do tons of lifting in the meat dept..

Yup, burpees are basically just to get your heart rate up, simply a cardio exercise. I'd rather lift massive weights personally

ehhh. cardio... I cut that out of my routine.. 5 years of running cross country is the reason why I have a hard time bulking up

I went up two flights of stairs twelve times last night to get a cold beer. Does that count?
