There was a time--maybe 30 years ago-- when I thought him a pretty good radio Bible teacher. However, his views have been getting more skewed and less historic mainstream Christian for decades.
Scripture is pretty clear that NO ONE knows the hour of Christ's return.

I dont agree with the 'Christ' thing, as you do. But- the Quran say's Jesus-of-Nazareth- will be there to chill the peeps out.

As far as I am concerned, all religion is just superstitious mumbo jumbo. In fact, the idea of making noise to scare off the beast eating the sun (eclipse) makes more sense since it works every time. About the only thing I agree with Marx on is that quote attributed to him about religion being the opiate of the masses. Fixes nothing, puts the user in a blissful state and gets him hooked on it.
