What's your gas mileage averaging these days?

Just curious what people get in mpg with their vehicles.

I use an app on my iphone called Gas Chubby that gives me all kinds of information.

Here's mine:

2006 Jetta TDI 37.3 mpg combined. It does seem to lower a bit in the winter. Maybe it's from the heater running. I don't know.

Both my diesels and my gasser get somewhere around 25 mpg on the highway. The E500 is probably closer to 15 around town.

Around 14-15 this time of year, winter kills my mileage, in the summer I get 16-17.

Is there a prize?

All city (that means stop lights, signs, slowing down for corners, pedestrians, etc.)--I get around 53-54mpg. I can go 500+ miles on a tank (tank golds 10.6g, but I refill at around 9.8g).

On a stretch of road I've gotten 76mpg.

Guess what car I have? (It's an automatic, btw).

Wow, I didn't know the VW TDI gets that great of a mileage and it's not even a hybrid. Why don't they mate an electric engine to a diesel? Hello?

Our old 06 TDI returned 52mpg for me on road trips going about 80mph. The 09 TDI we had ran a lot better than the 06 but got about 40mpg on the road.

In my E430, I'm averaging 19 mpg.

In my 280SE 4.5 "The Red Baron", I'm averaging about 12 mpg.

In our Volvo S70, we're averaging about 22 mpg.

In our Volvo XC70 Cross Country we're averaging about 21 mpg.

28 in town, driven hard in the '99 neon. Drinks premium with 10% corn.
Cost per mile in fuel is 13cents, Insurance, and maintenance brings the cost up to a "staggering" 20 cents per mile or so. Been good to me so far.

Installing an engine I rebuilt this weekend. May have "found" some performance items, "since it was out"

Metal sparkles in oil change following weekend of drag racing. Figure at 175k miles, it doesnt owe anybody anything. No flecks or sparkles in last oil change.
