old vintage tool ID help

i am trying to ID this tool manufacturer by the logo. this is a 1/2" drive socket set with a ton of odd-ball sizes that dates from the 1930's or 40's. any help would be appreciated.
thanks

I have sent a copy of the photo to a guy in Texas nicknamed papawrench because he's an old tool maven who runs a website called tool talk. Hoping to get their whole group of tool enthusiasts to look.

It APPEARS to me to be an early Plomb-brand set, but I will tell you-- in these areas, I am NOT an expert.
