How low is too low?

Simple question related to automobile ride height....

How low is too low?

I was driving my TE yesterday, and didnt have enough space to do a proper cut over some speedbumps...

As a result, I got stuck and dented my rocker panel... :( Also had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive with rope to pull me loose.

(On a more serious note, are you saying that the cars in my driveway are the correct height?)

The cars (Currently your wagon and i'm sure what you're planning for the C43) are too low ;)

The C43 is already lowered.

The wagon sits lower though.

To each his own, but I say that anything lower than stock is too low, unless the lowering is a byproduct of a modification that improves performance. A while back, I had a Subaru with a suspension kit that resulted in a slight lowering. The modification resulted in such a huge improvement in handling that I was OK with the lowering. In fact, it even looked good to my eye because I knew that it was a bona fide modification. Otherwise, I like stock ride height. IMHO.

The answer is you can never be too low, because you can never be too bad-a$$.

You sir, are an inspiration!

If you ever are in CA, I owe you a drink! (Or some brownies ;) )

I am still thinking about trying to get another inch lower, but its going to require some custom work to get done.

You need an adjustable air suspension, like the one found in W220-and-up 4Matics. Press a button and you gain about two inches of lift.

I quit drinking and don't do drugs. Buy me a tall, cool glass of milk. I was in LA over Thanksgiving, Hollywood actually, for my brother's wedding. Far away from you northerners. :D

All my friends know the low rider
The low rider is a little higher

The low rider drives a little slower
Low rider, is a real goer

Hey

Low rider knows every street, yeah
Low rider, is the one to meet, yeah

Low rider don't use no gas now
The low rider don't drive too fast

Take a little trip, take a little trip
Take a little trip and see
Take a little trip, take a little trip
Take a little trip with me

That of course depends on whether or not you like fixing dented panels and oil pans. ;)
