Think that jeep would have meade it through the ditch in the second picture?

That's what i'm curious to find out as well. It's tough finding anything but basic information about them. All I have found so far are the physical dimensions, the fact that they have leaf springs and that they are built purposely simple.

I'm wondering how it would stack up against a G-Class or a Defender.

There is a small odd ball loving used car dealer in Logansport near here who always has interesting things from studebakers to 29 fords on his lot. Last time I went by there he had this really rugged looking device that looked something like this and IIRC it has some sort of an austin motor. I understand it runs and drives and has that sort of faithful dog look something like this in the picture and sort of like a first gen International scout.

Could be but i've never heard of one being in the U.S. I would imagine that is has the safety rating of a go-kart.....(The video mentions a lack of seat belts )
