You can't stream the signal through the DirecTV connection. This is really simple. Turn the player off. Connect the cable from the router to the player. Turn player on. Go to network config screen and you should see an ip address. If so, you're good to go. Logon your Neflix account and under account settings, click the play instantly option. It will generate a code. Go to your player and input the code when it asks. You have to click on the Neflix icon to do this. Done.

Just a note: The cables from the dish are still coax so it could possibly work.
