I think it's funny that an 83 is considered old!! Having owned several of that vintage I would stay away from the carburated ones and get the fuel injected model (87 and up I think). The 6.2 diesel was a real turd and I wouldn't own another one if it was free.

That thing sure is purty! Looks like the only "electronics" are power locks. I'd rather have the cloth interior but some seat covers could do the trick.
I love the old square Blazers and Subs. In another year or two I'm going to start looking for a nice southern diesel Sub. Quote:

The '92-'99 generation seem to be a lot better in that regard.

Actually, it's probably a good thing that it's NOT a diesel. GM passenger car and light truck diesels of that era left a lot to be desired in all categories.
