7.62 AR?

I'm debating on the rifle I want to buy. I was thinking about getting a Scar 17 but I don't see that happening this year.

So now I'm debating on either an AR10, FN Fal, or M1A.

As for the FAL I'm thinking about getting a tricked out DSA Fal with all the goodies, 21in barrel, match trigger etc, about $2400.

Or an M1A, but I want an EBR stock on it. Probably an 16 or 18 inch barrel with the Sage EBR stock, figure about $2600.

Last but not least an AR of some sort. I really like LMT and since the British SAS adopted them I was quite interested. But they only offer the 16in barrel to civilians, and I really want a 21.

My other option is a Knight's Armament SR25 Mk11 Mod 0, which are expensive figure $4k-$5k. But its one BAMF rifle.

I'm torn, while the FAL is cool I want something kind of modern that I can put a can on eventually.

Its a tough decision, I wish I could just buy them all! I'm leaning towards the Fal since its the "right arm of the free world", and is one of the most important rifles of the 20th century. But the AR's are just modern and cool. Its also the younger brother of my FN49 which is an awesome rifle; IMHO it shoots better than the M1A.
