When their plane landed at the International airport in Addis Abbaba, he told me his friend's US AID partner, emergd from the plane, and the first words out of his mouth were these:

"WOW !!! There sure are a lot of FOREIGNERS around here !! "

He swore to god that is EXACTLY what the guy actually said.

This might be my favorite comedy line of all time:

Let me give you a warning. If you go to Paris, France: 'Chapeau' means 'hat.' 'Œuf' means 'egg.' It's like those French have a different word for everything!

In the interest of historical accuracy.....

A Civil Rights leader told me long ago that it was his impression that two kinds of people got lynched: Those that had committed a serious crime and those who had not.

A real crime was killing someone and then falling victim to a group of people that did not want to wait for a trial. A nothing crime was a made up thing against someone who was not liked for one reason or another so they were just lynched. Both were terrible but the real danger was in the real crime ones since once a mob mentality set in and thought this was a good cure for big problems it came to be thought of as a good cure for all problems.

Now the question becomes: A problem for who? Killing another is a problem for all in most cases. But what if your business is just being hurt by the business of another? Is that a problem? It was to some.

Far more common was to be tar and feathered. Very painful for days and a sure sign you were not wanted in the community. It was also a form of mob justice, but it was often done while the cops looked the other way.

One instance he was a witness too was in Oklahoma in the 1920's. The Cops were there, but they spent their time directing traffic since it was dark and lighting was poor.

The two guys tar and feathered were White. They were traveling salesmen who's 'Wonder Cure' had sickend most of their customers.

Perhaps this whole racism thing comes down to 'I do not like your ways and I will make things be the way I want them to be'.

Why bother. For people like you it's ok for Muslims to kill innocents and commit terrorist acts everyday, 365 days a year. You'll just make excuses for them. What it boils down to is you agree with the terrorists and you want them out there committing terrorist acts. Let's hope the terrorists don't turn their attention to you. Wouldn't want a fine upstanding person like you to suffer the consequences of your own beliefs.

Not worth the powder it would take to blow 'wm away. Not even good for organ donors, 'cause their DNA might pollute the Donee.

You wouldn't believe how many people don't know simple facts of anatomy and jump to errant conclusions due to their own poor education and ignorance.
