Mobile DVD player

i recently acquired a 1993 Ford E-150 Mark III conversion van. It's a really nice van, well cared for, with 96,000 miles and came with all maintenance records. The van has an Audiovox 13 inch crt television, which is useless as a tuner for stations without a digital converter. It also came with a Audiovox VCR, which works, but my movie collection in VHS format is not quite what my kids would want to watch. It also came with a Nintendo NES, which was removed some time ago by the PO. The really cool thing is that it came with the original remotes for both...and they were all rarely used. Hell, the thing came with the original head phones...all 4 sets still in the original plastic.

I'm looking for a mobile DVD player to put in the spot where the NES used to reside. I don't need one with a monitor, as I plan on using the current CRT television for that. It can't be one that is long and thin like a home unit, it needs to be a bit taller and narrower.

The spot for the NES still has the RCA, coax, and 12 supply lines, so I shouldn't really have much to re-wire.

I'm not wanting to spend more than $100.

Any suggestions on the DVD player?

Jon-we picked up this little AC/DC Magnavox several years ago for my youngest boys' room, it was under $60 at the time. This crappy pic was more to show the size in comparison to the Wii console, about 8" across and deep and less than 3" tall.

You really should get a unit designed for use in an automobile....

x2, normal DVD players will be affected by bumps, turns, etc. since they're designed to sit on a shelf their whole life. You'd probably have to throw in a 12V+ wire though if it has a normal household plug in there.

I didn't see a normal plug in the compartment...just a 12v plug and a power port.
