I'm an old Army cannon cocker, but I did ship over to Paradise on the USNS Gen'l Walker. 3 weeks it took and there was guys getting seasick in the chow line while we were still tied to the dock in Oakland.

That chopper looks like it's tied down at about frame 20 or 25. Go halfway to the bow from there and 1 level (or deck) down and that's where I worked and slept on the Big "A".

We did hit a storm about 2 days out of 'Frisco. The troop showers were in the bow and guys were sliding around on soapy water unable to stand or get the heck out, what a bunch a land lubbers.
