I can fix them up!
The wife and I went to the Denver Auto Show. It was a great time and it was great looking, sitting and finding out about all of the new cars. After we left the show and headed home in our '90 300E 2.6 my wife told me to fix up what was needed on this car (the 300E). She went on to tell me she liked it more than many of the new ones. I am excited that I will soon be fixing up the old girl!
I also hope to get some body work done on my 115 |

Your wife may live to regret . . . a husband with a hobby.

I didn't go this year, but I always have the same reaction. I went to the Detroit show last year and didn't see anything I would want to own. A few cars that might be fun to play with, but nothing I would want to live with.

I feel that way at the boat show every year. I see $70k 19 foot ski boats and my $10k Mastercraft looks pretty good.

Funny how that happens. You go check out what there is and you are, in a way, let down but happier with what you have. I just find it funny we like our $300 1990 E-class more than many of the cars on the road. That is just awesome!

Anytime I feel the need to drool at some glossy new offering, I go home, open the strongbox, and admire the vehicle titles that are kept inside!
