Segues usually have some subtlety. This one is like a Buick hitting a tree.

I like revenge and karma just as much as the next person but I am some what leery of having law enforcement who job it is to enforce the law take part in twisting the law to suit their needs.

Having said that, it could not have happened to nicer people. And having said that, I can see a law suit happening very quickly. I hope for the MS folks involved in this, that they doted every 'i' and crossed every 't'. Other wise that could be a very expensive day.

Guess the day the "smarts" were handed out for knowing WHEN to open or keep one's mouth closed, "Einstein" must have been hiding in the closet...along with his masculinity...which will come out someday...then his "flock" can beat the "flock" out of him too!

And having "someone(s)" double-park your car in a parking slot is such a pain. But since it's a private lot, the cops really can't do anything about it...it's a "civil matter" as far as they (the cops) are concerned. Even MY ACCIDENT a few weeks ago was acknowledged as a "civil matter" and one that the cops wouldn't be involved in.

All in all, I'm surprised the folks still had inflated tires and non-potatoed exhaust systems, let alone, NOT, being "pennied" in their motel rooms.

I'm wondering if a "joint" or two could have been "found" in each of the cowl-areas of their cars could have been enough to provide "probable cause" to sieze their vehicles? Or slow them down even more as drug-sniffing dogs would have had to been brought in to sniff 'em down?

How's the drug laws down in that little town in Mississippi? I suspect they don't take kindly to "their kind" when they come about and all uppitty and all...eh?

At least, it wasn't a repeat of "Mississippi Burning" this time...
