6.3 Wagon FS

Unbelievably beautiful! I would daily that with a permanent ***** eating grin on my face. :D

This one is not bad either: http://bringatrailer.com/2010/01/30/familie-truckster-1977-mercedes-450sel-estate/

I have to object. Those wagon conversions just don't sit well with me. They look clumsy to me. Esp. when compared to the sedan.
Now, considering that Mercedes hasn't been manufacturing a serial wagon until the W123, it makes the most awkward impression to me, when eyeballing such S-class wagon conversions. |
Nice car, but (dons Devil's Advocate hat) you could probably pick up a 455-powered Vista cruiser in similar condition for considerably less money.

Makes me want to buy a W140 and transplant the rear bits off a W210 wagon.
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_leoGYAeiH4...140+wagon.jpeg Or W220 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3271/...885885c836.jpg Or W126 http://farm1.static.flickr.com/107/3...3fef10b94e.jpg Love big wagons. I don't know why MB didn't built these from the factory. They look so much better than the sedans they're based on. |
Thats bad a$$ right there. And its got VT plates :D
|
While not quite aesthetically perfect, I'll take it. I'm a sucker for big power wagons.
