I have to object. Those wagon conversions just don't sit well with me. They look clumsy to me. Esp. when compared to the sedan.
Now, considering that Mercedes hasn't been manufacturing a serial wagon until the W123, it makes the most awkward impression to me, when eyeballing such S-class wagon conversions.

Nice car, but (dons Devil's Advocate hat) you could probably pick up a 455-powered Vista cruiser in similar condition for considerably less money.

Makes me want to buy a W140 and transplant the rear bits off a W210 wagon.

Love big wagons. I don't know why MB didn't built these from the factory. They look so much better than the sedans they're based on.
