May roll-call.

Howdy All,
Another month upon us. At my advanced age they go so quickly. Can't remember if I have any projects for the month, so I'll ask you what you have going on?

SUMMER!!! Favorite time of year - means hitting the gym hard, dieting hard, getting out and biking on the weekends, going to the beach. Hopefully getting my 300E ready for sale/trade too

Hmmmm...

same old same old

finishing off painting the car
finishing off the engine rebuild and writing it up for PP
finishing off my 722.118 rebuild
finishing off the steering box rebuild
finishing off the sunroof rebuild

lots of finishing off this month - we'll see how far I get what with the continual child care, cutting hedges, cutting grass, building a car port etc etc etc

We are having a dry autumn (your fall).
The machinery is doing 18 hr days catching up on work that was held up by the summer rain. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong.
This time of the year, it can make the difference between a good year & a fantastic year!!
Need to cut some more fire wood.

Absent and unaccounted for.

SSDD. Busy at work, busy afterwork with kids' stuff. At least there's a change of venue from stinky gyms and lockerrooms to baseball and soccer fields. Meanwhile, the house, yard and vehicles continue to be neglected.

LOL. I was wondering about this.

Have you ever thought of investing in a Valentine V1? Literally the best radar detector made. Lives up to its name. Knowing which direction the radar is coming from is amazing, and its NEVER wrong, although you must drive with it for awhile to learn when to ignore and when to not ignore. But not like your typical cheapo radar detector BS that picks up on automatic doors at Best Buy and such.

I got a Vsalentine 1 for Chriatmas but haven't put it in yet. I need to do that.

I am mostly using the s l o o o w new Outback 2.5i I got last month for everything now.

The V 1 is portable from the Mercedes to that one.

Thumbs up *** Droppin' - Paintin' - Ridin' ***

Hey Swampy! You know your priorities the best!

I'm taking the 450SLC into the bodychop tomorrow to begin the $3K repair and dance. I'll have a few other "dings" taken care of and hopefully have some fresh paint on the shell and back on the roadway before Benzypalooza occurs in 3 weeks.

Meet ya' on the 'I' in Chitown...then!!!
