Have integrity, stay true to your conviction, and don't pay much attention to women. They'll flock to you.

Keep playing Wiffle Ball. For the last 4 years my plant has manufactured every Wiffle bat in existence, supplying Wiffle in Shelton, CT. They even trademarked the color yellow.

I have a BSEE and an MBA...and I manage two plastics plants...go figure.

I always thought otherwise! In every other situation I just tell people to get bent and go on my merry way. It's just that because I live and attend school with these people, I should probably be less of a cowboy about it. Obviously I should have just done it anyways, since look where being nice to people got me

As of now, I think I'm going to stay pre-medicine, and either pay for it myself or do it with the Air Force. Being stationed in Germany wouldn't be a bad thing, I reckon.

I always stick to my guns, but thats more because I'm stubborn rather than Mr. Integrity As far as girls go, I'm definitely over it. I figure if I even get married, it ain't happening for at least 8 years, so why worry now?

Also, as far as wiffleball is concerned... I love playing. I am terrible at baseball, but wiffle is my sport... Other than rugby I have at least 20 bats in my garage.

I have no idea what life has in store for me, but hopefully its enjoyable.

The travel/adventure thing will get old fast if you are not the one choosing the destinations. I have several friends who have done well in the military, but they all had degrees, became commissioned officers, and advanced quickly because the were very smart and very ambitious. They also knew when they had gotten everything they needed from the experience and left to do other things.
The Legion is basically my last ditch effort should I be undecided as to what I want to try and do with my life. It's less about the money, more about the ability to go in unknown and come out knowing who exactly who I am, and have the means to direct myself with what I want to do. After that, I'd either pursue a different career or join some PMC and make tons of money with the skills I acquired in the FFL.

But like I said, that is a LAST resort.

As your last ditch I would just join the USMC.

The FFL sounds like its made up of pretty tough people, you better be able to hold your own in a very tough crowed.

You might meet a similar crowd by just doing some time in your state penitentiary.

What was his name ... the guy who claimed to be an ivy leaguer and who would post one-line provocations. Had the avatar with the bald head and the shiny star in its eye. Hmmmmm.

Hey snake,

I'm 21 and I go to college in Ithaca. I know the feeling you have and let me tell you the the overall outlook on college is why you're not doing so well.

Being in college is the one time in your life where you can control your destiny and the outcomes of your year. To be honest, everyone in college tends to just follow instead of lead. So do yourself a favor and lead!

Check your inbox for a PM from me.

So did George Costanza. (At least he was an 'architect')

You saying I don't look tough? While I would serve my country in the Marines, I like the idea of just coming in as a drifter to the FFL and being able to build whatever kind of personality you want from there. Plus I'd rather be in the Cote D'Ivoire, Djibouti or Libya than anywhere in the real Middle East.

Haha from the looks of it, the two schools are pretty similar; It's actually interesting how many good schools are 200 miles outside of the middle of nowhere. Despite my lack of appreciation for the school in this thread, my school pride is actually pretty deep, so I respectfully disagree on the first two

I don't think anyone would disagree on your final point though!
