Citroen Metropolis concept!

http://www.autoblog.com/photos/citroen-metropolis-concept-4/#2945981

Holly crap that's a cool looking car! Looks like it should run on a fuel cell or be electric, and sitting on a street corner in 2050.

So cool! I really like these new styling trend that's coming down, the bubble cars that started in the late 90's are kind of meh. Now were getting some angles back.

I really like the Audi LED treatment to the front.

Citroen concepts often look good. It is only when they make them that you realise that they are in fact just lemons.

So it's probably a good thing we can only look and not touch them over here?

Yeah I would say so. Dodge have been selling some pretty tinny plastic fantastic shopping trolleys over here recently of similar quality. Is that a good enough comparison?

Citroen's marketing policy says it all really. They make up a ridiculous list price and then discount discount discount... as a rule of thumb no one should ever pay more than 70% of the list for a Citroen. French cars at the moment are of pretty poor quality. Factor in the cost of the spares and their reliability you'd be better off with any Japanese / Korean / German car in my opinion. Big French cars always seem to turn out to be an especially bad deal in the long run.

I don't like the bulbous front end or the grill.

But, of course, to each their own.

Overall, I like the looks of it - except for that hideous front grille - it just screams "Edsel".

Bestest, most comfortable car I ever owned was a French 1979 Peugeot NA diesel wagon.

It looks sort of Chrysler-ish to me.

Citroens recent record turning concepts into actual cars is pretty good. Most concepts are just for show and nothing more.

At least they are good looking lemons so you can still enjoy them even when they are broken down on the side of the road

It's nice to see something a bit different. Looks a little on the large side though.

I had a series of 3 504 sedans. Agree on the comfort.

I went to the Import and Kit Car show today at Carlisle, PA.

There must have been 2 dozen Citroens ---2CV, DS. even a few SM plus a few others.
Only 2 lonely Peugeots.
And 3 DKW 3 cylinder 2 strokes--I had never sen one and here there were three!
