Porsche problem

I just bought a 1966 Porsche 912 which was in storage for a dozen years. The engine is moving freely, I've put in new plugs, renewed the carburetors, art. boiled out the gas tank, bought a new battery, laid hands upon her bonnet....the engine turns and turns and turns but does not start. I replaced the coil with a known good coil and so far I cannot seem to get a spark from the coil to the distributor...I tried making the spark gap jump...nothing, zilch, bubkus!

Car does look good though, so if it never runs it will be a good garage companion to my E320 Wagon.

Help!

I have replaced a water pump on my 91 300TE, air pump on my E320, O2 sensors on 190e and 300te...But...I can't figure this one out!

THere will be a "DUH" moment!

Thanks in advance!
