Maybe like the full moon, these astronomical events have some sort of influence on behavior. Probably dates back to pre-historic times. There was a young french teacher at my old high school. Totally full of herself, a right proper B!TCH, born in france. One of my fellow students asked her in class if her french ancestry predated Louis the # (cant remember), when she said yes, he said "& thats why you are still revolting". He got a couple of day suspension for it, many of us fell out of our chairs laughing!

Nothing more than a high-five celebration
Reminds me of Billy 'White-Shoes Johnson' spikeing the ball, and doing a wobbly kneed dance in the end zone after a touch-down catch.
Moderater saying (are you a recently divorced female) is the same thing as calling someone a *****, (something I would recieve an infraction for), and yet...he/others are yukking it up about it. So sorry gentlemen...I fail to see the humor. Carry on with your pileing on.

Sheesh, I've been called just about everything (including late to dinner) over the years, lots worse than a wuss or a female dog, IN PERSON TO MY FACE at times - sometimes it was deserved, sometimes it was just because the other person was being an AH, sometimes in public in front of coworkers, friends, or passersby.
Guess what - I learned to deal with it, and dealt with each situation according to the circumstances, and got on with life - instead of carrying a grudge against someone for years because "Johnny called me a bad name", or becoming an anti-social hermit and refusing to interact with other people, or as seems to be the remedy du jour these days, filing harassment or hate crime charges/lawsuit. Someone that I've never met, called me a whatever, in one post, on one thread, in one section of an internet car forum that 99% of the world doesn't even know about? Big whoop - I've got more important problems in the real world to deal with.

We are humans and have the ability to speak. While people do call others names and insult them on a daily basis, I do not think it should be considered "OK". I think part of being an adult is acting like one. People should e able to disagree with out the insults.
I have been guilty of it like most others (I have 2 infractions) and I regret it. I let my emotions get the better of me and said things I should not have said. I think it is sad when we let arguments degrade into shouting/name calling matches. Yes it happens, but it should not be OK that it happens. If someone hurls an insult, then I want to see them smacked on the wrist. If they continue to do so then give them a tie out. There is no reason we should not be able to disagree with each other in an adult manner.
