The architect has completed the drawings of our 'big house' and now it's time to get it moving and I'd like to hear your suggestions and experiences in putting residence construction up for bid and getting a home built.

Up to now, I've always been my own GC but this project is bigger than me. Sound off please, I want to know what to look out for etc.
