I hear you, its not worth sweating over OPS (other people's 5hit). But the forum is like a community, you have a sick neighbor, you don't just turn the other cheek because you can't stand the sound of their cough....

It isn't.........the fact that he's allowed to return incessantly pretty much tells you that the accumulation of points is just a temporary measure and really has no teeth.

In the old days (03-04), Lance was pretty cool. When he lived in Tulsa, he rigged his TD to blow smoke which was fun and funny. We communicated often regarding a transmission swap he was doing and IIRC, I even sent some parts to him...gratis.

Then, he got all growed up, went to school, became a diesel mechanic and moved to Colorado where someone slipped him some sort of conservative/libertarian coolaid and he developed attitude.

I swear he's not the same Lance; it's like his body has been taken over by aliens. But then maybe it's just the thin air of the front range or maybe he's like my bulls: just needs a girlfriend...or something to rub on.

Whatever his issues are, he lost my respect a few years back when he was selling a 5-speed driveshaft. He told me about it, I offered to buy the thing, and then he goes and lists it on eBay. Some thanks that is to a fellow forum member who at one time went out of the way to take pictures of parts, pull the parts, and send the effing parts to him, all por nada.

I say good riddance FI; go blow your smoke somewhere else.
They put beans in their chili out there?

OK, glad we're on the same wavelength.

I'll go be a rabble-rouser somewhere where I intend to be.

Nice, I'd like to get another eventually, so for now I'll just watch other people have fun with them!

Apparently they finally realize that their problem is just not worth the effort.

I have people asking me on other forums about him. Not even a mercedes forum. He trolls all over.

I personally cant stand his attitude. Ive had to put my youtube videos on comment approval first since he has like 4 accounts on there too.

This was a good move.

Every discussion cannot be a confrontation, and every confrontation cannot be personal. If one ignores all rules of civility in any discussion where opinions differ, anger rises, and the discussion frequently gets side tracked into an irrelevant and thread wrecking debate.

FI is an will probably always be a genuine artist at developing this type of confrontation, in fact he seems to hone his considerable skills during each suspension.

At a certain point, what you have to offer as far as technical expertise must be secondary to how your offer it.

For instance, I cannot combine sound tax advice with a vicious kick in the nuts, its unlikely the tax message would be assimilated past the resentment of the delivery. There is no excuse for excessive rudeness on the forums.

I belong to several forums where there is NEVER any foolishness. (Though I never visit their OD section and for years did not here either).

Well for some reason they insist on bringing back all the old banned people for another go around. I guess the powers at be want to run the new mods ragged and get generate some complaints.
