This is constantly a problem with government.

Wether they processed it by mistake or not, it shouldn't have be written originally as a citation. Maybe the F&G worker had to report it, but not as a citation.

How about the Lemonaide stand thread.

Or todays paper had a bit where a number of cities have laws against the droopy pants style the kids are wearing.

IMHO they look stupid (and if they knew where/why the style originated they'd freak), but it's not governments place to regulate.


Steriods in Baseball SAME, it's a business, they owners should decide if they will allow steriods or not. AND make it know to the public, then it's up to the players to decide if THEY want to risk it.

That doesn't make sense. The Fish and Wildlife service processed it unintentionally. Note that they themselves requested to cancel it. So they issued a cancellation request to themselves and then processed it anyway?

And the same agent who confronted her in the store is the one who showed up to serve the summons. That's the part I don't get. Maybe it was a case of the right hand not knowing what the left was doing. Even so, it appears as if the agency tried to fix the problem and just screwed it up.

not surprising. I cancelled a bank account for a deceased person 1.5 years ago, went in with all the correct documentation, received a receipt stating the account was cancelled, there is no record of the account anymore, and nothing in the bank computers.

Guess what comes every month? A statement for that account showing an increasing debt as the account apparently uses its credit limit to keep a minimum balance.

Ive been in the bank 5 times about it, but they don't have any record of it, and can't fix something they don't have a record of. Idiotic bureaucracy.

Try return to sender, no longer at this address. They normally stop soon enough.

Who said anything about 200,000 phone calls? The article says that the summons was cancelled on June 28, a day after the agent spoke with the girl's mother. Are you saying that's a lie?
