I sure hope you're not driving it like a total Grandma. That engine needs to be loaded and unloaded once warmed up. Just don't let it chug in low RPMs, stay at any consistent RPMs for a long period (cruise control) or redline it.

Generally shifting below 2500rpm but occasionally bring it up to 4-5k and let it wind back down for negative backpressure.

Zero...but I'm becoming the old fogey driver...

...and the "No Contest" option in Texas allows you to pay the ticket fine and have it not put points on your record as long as you can stay out of trouble for 90 days...or BOTH end up on your record.

I've been able to take advantage of that at least twice in a decade...so ZERO points!

None. Have a NY license, but use the car almost exclusively for out of state trips. NY isn't very strict about out of state offenses, as long as they don't involve alcohol, death, or Canucks. (Oddly, they give points for tickets in Ontario but not NJ )
