number of points on your DL

I will start this thread, I have 6 point, even though I have a 240D. The good news is that 4 points will go away in 3 months.

I have 1 point on my record at the moment, but have 2 pending.

I got one ticket on Fathers Day of this year, and another on the Sunday of July 4th weekend.

I was driving the C43 in both cases. :/

Haven't had a moving violation in decades. Pulled over and was dead to rights a couple of times, but I charmed my way out of them.

Zero, courtesy of driving low-profile vehicles. Last ticket I received was about 15 years ago while I was driving a new black 740iL down the interstate. Today, LEOs seem to look right through my Xterra. A little gray around the temples helps too.

None right now but I am due for a ticket.

The last ticket I got was in Dal-Worthington Gardens aka Hazard county. I was doing 44 on what they determined was a 30. The catch is, there were no signs up yet as it was a new construction. It was 4 lanes with a grass/concrete divider. All other similar roads in the area are 40. DWG is a known speed trap. I fought the ticket in court and Boss Hog found me guilty. Funny thing is the five people before me all were found guilty as well. Go figure. POS town can burn to the ground for all I care. That was about 2 years ago.

None. I've never had an issue blending into traffic. That's not to say I don't ever exceed the speed limit. If the majority of traffic is doing 72 in a 65, I set the cruise at 72 and stay in the middle lane. I usually stay around the limit on the roads.

a word to the wise; it appears one of the more popular tickets being handed out is for speeding. There is a speeding case going on right now in California involving a teenager whose parents had installed a 'teen tracker GPS' system. Seems the 'teen tracker' showed the teen driving well within the posted speed limit at the time the speeding ticket was issued. The case is known as the battle of technologies; radar gun versus GPS teen tracker system. The police have spent in excess of $15K attempting to make the speeding ticket stick........

That's gonna be a tough one. My understanding is that GPS speed determination is pretty much dead accurate.

I have no points, neither does the wife and even the last teenager is pointless, in more ways than one.

I have NONE and never have, thank goodness. I can't imagine what my insurance would be with anything...its high already, 23 years old with 3 cars, one being a brand new hot hatch. I always thought GPS readouts would be a good idea in traffic court (provided you actually have a case) as long as it shows the date/time and interval of readings.
