Good luck DON !!!!!

On the first day just walk in there with your head held high like you own the place !!!!

A bit over 20 years ago I went to an engineering conference there. Its spectacular how they get everything to work so well.

You will soon have some great stories to tell about the place !!

Congratulations!

The other thing that you learned is that small-minded people running companies lack the creativity to make jobs fulfilling AND profitable for everyone.

Disney has a solid reputation for better than that, you can grow.

Good luck with it. I know you will do well.

Good thinking on not burning bridges with the current employer. Just in general it is always good to leave relationships on good turns.

I will hopefully have my degree this time next year. I just got back from fingerprinting and paperwork. My orientation or "traditions " class is Oct. 4th. I'll be a photo pass photographer which is a job I have been waiting for and thinking about for years now.

After I left the office for the paperwork I was immediately in front of the door to the internship office... I can't wait to get one with disney.

I know you pay for the wages in the form of taxes but I doubt you pay taxes on the benefits so it might actually be better.

I hope the new job helps in the hours worked dept. I need to put a little money to the side so I can do some needed repairs to the 300D. The 240D's been getting all of my attention.

Congrats on the new job, Don!

I left my job at a supermarket when I was also a junior in College, and everyone there thought I was crazy, but I was glad to go and never looked back.
