Do you mean that it's a bit more difficult to live on an annual post-federal tax income of $9,000, as opposed to $900,000?

Taken from your source. "This year, households making more than $1 million will pay an average 29.1% of their income in federal taxes, including income taxes, payroll taxes and other taxes, according to the Tax Policy Center, a Washington think tank."

Payroll taxes is where they get you. If you work for your money you're screwed. Some bonuses and proceeds from investments are taxed at a lower rate. Even a simple thing like my MUNIS, getting 5-8% tax free.

The Buffet rule should be those who eat more should pay more.

I had not noticed that the 29% is an aggregate tax rate and not just their IRS taxes. Thanks for pointing that out.

Don't know about lunch, but dinner was cool last night. Local Mexican joint has a specila on Mondays. Tacos or Magaritas for $1 each. And the drinks are strong. Wife had two and was wiped out. No buffet though. All ala carte.

Actually, he gets NO dividends from Berkshire Hathaway. BH does not pay a dividend. All of their earnings are plowed back into buying more businesses. His large income os from stocks he owns outside of his BH shares.

Cadillac driving welfare queens would not be exclude from the parasitic underclass, nor would any of those who are unable to feed, cloth, house, and care for themselves without relying on the charirty or confiscated wealth of those who can and do.

maybe we should just round them up and send them to camps, where they can be worked to near death, and then exterminated?

jonathan swift comes to mind as well. american children, especially those living on the poverty level, subsisting on a high starch, high fat diet, would make for good eating, no?

If I understand the Buffet Rule, ( and it may be that I do not), I think it confuses income taxes and capitol gains taxes.
Capitol Gains are taxes paid on money that was put to risk in some sort of an investment.

Too much trouble and expense let them die where they are. The natural order will prevail and the stinking rotting corpses will host there own parasites and the energy contained within will be passed along.

Can't offer much in the way of gastronomical opinion other than they would likely be better tasting and tenderer than free-range African and Asian babies.

Perhaps you could share with us a few choice recipes from the KKK Cookbook.
