Sorry, no picture

Years ago, Ex-2 and I were driving in the finger lakes region of upstate NY talking about having sold our horses. We had someone pay $250 for the untrained Appaloosa that we got for free to keep our quarterhorse company. We were talking about the fact that the Appaloosa was probably headed to France to be eaten.

That point we passed the county fairgrounds where there was a sign that said:

Horse racing at 2:00 PM
Steak dinner at 7:00 PM

We figured the winners went home, the losers stayed for dinner.

China is a cornucopia of hilarious signs. Here's two from our last trip to Shanghai.

Not exactly a sign but funny nevertheless, this was taken in the Museum of Science and Technology in Shanghai. This part of the museum has replicas of the Victorian laboratories where (supposedly) some of physical and natural science's most important discoveries were made.

Not exactly sure why this fella's mug is on the wall of a Victorian lab since in the 1800s he still lacked a few years before being conceived.

*** The wearable kind... ***

Not exactly the kind of shirt you'd go out "barhopping" wearing and expect pleasant results...
