94 gmc suburban oil leak

i just bought a 94 gmc suburban with a rebuilt 354 ...i just notice an oil leak (but only when the truck is turned off) what could be the cause it looks like its coming from the plug but after looking further it looks like it is coming from somewhere further up can you help
