People are being unjust to the late Falco. This may not have been his best song, but others were much worse.

Pick anything from German language rap and it will make you barf.

I always liked the German version of " Der Kommissar geht 'rum"

I missed most of these. I think I was listening to Hank Wms. Jr. back then. Or somebody. I forget.

I'm deeply offended... All I listen to is stuff from this genre of 80's pop and new wave...

If it's any consolation my favorite band/musician is Sting and the Police.

There was so much bad music in the 80's, it's hard to pick out what's worst.

Some of those songs were impossibly long too - whenever they came on the radio it was like crap here we go again.

How about this one.

I can dance if I want to, I can dance the safety dance and if I don't dance I can crap my own pants.

I'd say Puttin' on the Ritz is probably my #1 worst song of the 80s. I don't know how don't worry be happy got on there, that is more than a song--its a mantra of life!

Also, Top Gun soundtrack is the only CD I keep in my car. If you guys at the gtg hear "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins coming down the road you'll know I'm coming...

I remember when someone in Michigan did a spoof of this under the former Governor Jennifer Granholm's administration

It was along the lines of
" Jenny, we've got your number"
" For a good (political/appointed) job, for a good job, call !"
(517) 867-5309
517 is the area code for the Michigan capital of Lansing.

Sadly, the billboard was removed
