Acura CL 2.3 Question

The other day my girlfriend and I went car shopping and she bought an Acura 2.3 CL. The car is in really good shape but needed a little TLC (nothing major, windshield wipers, etc.).

I have one question out of necessity, and one out of curiosity...

When the car starts after sitting for a while it stumbles like it has a lack of fuel. After maybe 5 seconds of doing this it "kicks in" and idles just fine. To me it seems like fuel is retracting back in to the tank and the pump has to feed it to the engine before it idles normally.

What I'm curious about is what transmission does this car share with other Honda's/Acura's? There isn't anything wrong with it, I'm just curious if the engine/tranny combo was the exact same as the Civic and Accord with the same engine.

I seafoamed the thing today and it runs really smooth. I think this is a fantastic car for a girl who doesn't know anything about cars and it seems simple to work on.

Yes I realize this isn't a Honda/Japanese car forum, but I figured I might as well ask.

Check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail.
