and OD is already getting ramped up. Why can we not discuss issues with civility? Too mach rant and raggin' going on.

Meh, you're kidding right? This isn't OD's first election cycle for either president or midterms. As often said, the republic shall survive.

I'm fascinated by the disparate views people have about the country, how it runs and who runs it.

I have taken a page out of my warehouse guys' book and moved more or less towards blissful ignorance, politically speaking. My focus is now on the two things I can impart some effect, my family and my business.

Apparently that is exactly what "the other side" wants, regardless of which side one stands.

All entities "R" are not EVIL,
[The Elected ones Certainly Are,as well as captive of and working for their Corporate Masters rather than "Their" Constituents]
just "Challenged" in that they enable Corporate Crooks to do us all harm.
Think of someone ,misdirected enough to vote "R",as Mentally Repeatedly Hammering their big toe with a Ball Peen Hammer and expecting the Pain to go away.(Is that not the Classic Definition of...?)

I've NEVER Met,Heard of ,Envisioned anyone "D" who could be described as
Pure (As The Driven Snow). Remember in CONUS legal voting age is 18.
Lots and Lots and Lots of "D"s ,Elected and espousing of, should be "Thrown
Under the Bus" and Backed over a few times for good measure.
