I was amazed to find that McDonalds in the US tastes just the same as it does here. I thought it would be better in the country of origin... (I was wrong again)

Sorry to brag ! Mc Cafe was an Australian invention. Our feeble attempt to upmarket McD. The chairs are better than in The Swede's coffee shop!! (see his thread)

Burger King's whopper was/is definitely better in Amsterdam.

I just had one today at Utrecht central!

Funny though the one at Zwolle went out of business - to my mind there's no point going to Zwolle anymore - but that MUCK-D's stuff is everywhere. Number 1 son loves it but I think he likes the toys and the "free stuff" in the Happy Meals more than the meal as he rarely finishes it...
