I rarely go to a coffee shop, I don't drink the stuff. But I do like the mixed Ice Tea/ Lemonade at starbucks. I'll grab one on occasion while with the gf and she wants SB.

But we're in and out.

By no means on a regular basis, but I have been known to take advantage of their WiFi over a cup of coffee while traveling. While I don't wish to stereotype, I will say that I stand out. Maybe like Hattie said, because I would be "the man."

If nothing else that will teach you not to frequent their locations. You have landed up with the most expensive coffee there is.

Although come to think of it. I cannot remember where it was my wife proposed to me. Even though I tried to tell her I was not god's gift to women she would not listen. We have been together so long I can no longer remember when I was free.

All kidding aside if you get a good wife behind you it does not matter how it happened. It does make all the difference in my opinion. Some luck out and others do not.

There is no absolute way to really know in advance how it will play out over time. In my humble opinion it is the biggest gamble we undertake in our lives. It can make us or break us.

When my wife was a TA she used to have some of her office hours at a coffee shop. Much better environment than a stuffy office you had to share with a few other TA's.

Hey, that's MY local Starbucks. Can you see me in the background, right under the "Telephone" sign?

The girlfriend and I enjoy sitting and chatting at coffee shops or bakeries. We prefer quaint locally owned stores as opposed to chains which of course are hard to find.

Typically with my laptop (class or work). I notice little ****s from nearby school hangout in at my local place too. Starting them young now...
