Harvesting Roadkill

Illinois just trying to squeeze every penny out of its residents. Harvesting roadkill is now legal but requires a license.

State Senate overrides Quinn's veto to allow harvesting of roadkill

In the city I live they will not be charging $25 to pickup leaves. And if you decide to drop them off, as many do, you will still be charged. Oh, and if you don't rake them up. You guessed it, a fine. From a Mayor who promised no new taxes or tax increases. I would not mind, but Green Bay is a bit of a dump to begin with.

Our dogs love rabbits that from time to time go under the car. Just keep a plastic bag in the back to put it in. Wouldnt bother with anything bigger.

My dad hit a deer once. When he got home we discussed it and went back and got it, butchered it and....yum!

Deer get picked up pretty quick around these parts if they are not too badly torn up.

I lived on a Bible college campus as a youth. It had a tight budget. The State Troopers would bring roadkill deer for us to eat. I helped butcher a fair number of them.

I tried Deer Jerky for the first time earlier this year. It was tasty.

Pickup truck. Fake license plates. Mayor's front yard.

Hopefully the guy will get the message before his house is lost in a pile of leaves.

I have no dog in this fight since I don't live there. But I certainly wouldn't be unhappy if something like that happened to the little lying son of a whore.

In AZ you're only required to report it, there's no fee. Of course, if it's a 1000 pound ELK you hit, you won't have a vehicle left to take it home in.
